Just Ragnar Posted January 24, 2024 Share Posted January 24, 2024 The Chef Pouch was made to help Warly manage his inventory and keep his food fresh. In shipwrecked, it easily served this purpose. In DST however, it's just bad. Let's compare it to a backpack. Chef Pouch Crafted with 4 Twigs, 4 Grass and 2 Nitre Stores 6 items Slows spoilage time by 25% Backpack Crafted with 4 Twigs and 4 Grass at a science machine Stores 8 items Two slots of inventory are so much better than 25% spoilage time in the early game, where you cook and eat as you go. I still find myself running out of inventory, food spoilage is the least of your problems early on, and later you get access to the insulated pack and bearger bin and bundle wraps, i don't think giving Warly an actually good food storage alternative is all that broken. Maybe a seed pack-it but for crock pot ingredients?
