Hungry Lighter and Controlled Burning (And a few other minor complaints)

Recommended Posts

After a few minutes of practice I have noticed that, Fires seem to only provide a single percent as well Smolders don't even provide a percent. Absorbing them didn't put my lighter up any when absorbing them. I think that, either Fire should provide more, and embers only provide a percent or that there should be another method to refuel the lighter. I've seen a few people suggest that you can use embers for it, and that's a decent idea, another also suggested slowly siphoning off the campfire with it and taking it's time and applying it back to the Lighter.

Controlled burn? I definitely  do not like how it is currently implemented, it hinders refueling the Lighter which is already somewhat tedious (Honestly, it's easier to just go to the pig king with meat and just buy more off him. The Craft is three petals and a rope and one gold. This feels cheaper.) And it makes acquiring Charcoal slightly tedious because I have to set more on fire to do the same amount. Potentially wasting more fuel, it seems less efficient for the character who has perks in making sure that she has the best ratio to fuel a campfire with. I think it's what three logs to fully  fuel it with Willow?

A few suggestions I've seen would be to keep the no spreading to mobs only and that seems very worthwhile to me. Also the faster burn time is definitely  going to throw off my internal clock for burning trees in winter. I think that portion should just be dropped entirely and that perk perhaps be left up to just increasing burn time on Mobs. So far, fueling the Lighter the best way I found it was to put a bunch of burnables at lava pools and just absorb them and cool off every once in a while.

Where as anyone else can just, go get some lightbulbs from Caves and refuel their lantern or miner hat easier then this. For the lady who has all the flavor text of wanting to set the world on fire, controlled burn doesn't quite make as much sense to me.
