Who is the most well designed and balanced character, and why is it Wormwood?

This reminds me how easy bosses in singleplayer DS are lol

Thank god the bosses in DST are tankier.

DS and DST are easy bosses.

But DST does not have a normal hp balance. It doesn 't work well for both solo ( too much ) and multiplayer ( in some cases too much in others too little )

In my opinion , Wolfgang 's damage should be reduced to x1.5 in DS and in DST with solo hp mods .

X2 damage is too big a plus even in DS.
In DST, Wolfgang has a bunch of other strong advantages and all its disadvantages except sanity have been removed.

yeah im sorry bro but just because you dont need to heal mid-battle doesnt mean you dont need the heal button as other characters, i played maxwell a ton and i can tell you his health is not that much of a worry as people make it out to be.

Also all that time wasted farming nightmare fuel. Other characters can neglect getting shadow manipulator and just use a hambat + marble suit with football helm and wreck bosses like dfly for gems without needing healing then rush ruins to go straight to thulecite gear. You could argue that maxwell can do the same but everyday you dont have shadow gear your duelists go to waste. Might as well just play woodie then lol

You can turn random rabbits you find into nightmare fuel. Just a few seconds of your time, and you can gain beard hair and monster meat too. On a single rabbit, you can gain a minumun of a net gain of 15% charge on your book when using shadow sneak and cage spell. If you are able to catch multiple rabbits this number skyrockets.

Bunnymen farm are also great with maxwell. All characters inevitabily will have to heal. You are bringing a few perogies to a fight that you will inevitabily have to eat since overtime healing does not exist.

(This is probably biased) Warly is well balanced unrelatively. However, if you compare him to some of the other characters its clear that he is severely underpowered and too easy to switch back and fourth from to use his perks with no drawback, and lacks potential compared to other characters, specifically Wolfgang. Why play a character who buffs people after a lot of hard work if you have the option to play a character who, 15 seconds after appearing, has all those buffs and more all at the same time? Why bother getting 1.5x damage and the occational 3x damage if you can just pick Wolfgang and have permanently 2x damage?

I am wondering why there is a large influx of Wormwood lovers. What happened? I've loved Wormwood for a long time but he was typically ignored till recently.

thats what u want to believe cuz since always wormwood has fans and its weird  how people who like to play him always go for the underdog not loved card... :S

I mean.... that is quite literally his main character trait other than being a plant. His title is literally the lonesome :P

Joking aside, Wormwood's just in a weird spot bc he's a DLC character. Most of the DLC characters have incredibly flashy abilities to attract people to buy & play them. Wortox has AOE healing and practically free teleports to anywhere on the map, Wurt has Merm king and Loyal merm guards as passion a passion project, while Wanda has Her age mechanic, and a bunch of exceptionally powerful clocks. Wormwood's most immediately interesting passive is..... Crafting living logs.

So by default... F2P players probably won't play him, people who only buy/weave 1 or 2 DLC characters would probably go for the immediately interesting ones, so he's really only owned by people who have Hamlet or who weaved/bought all the DLC characters. It's less "he's unpopular as a character" and more "he's probably the character the least number of people have given a shot."

This is the Wormwood paradox, he is the most forgotten character, except all of the love that he got and still gets. (He deserves it, he is my wormyboi.)

Yeah, but out of every DLC character, he is the most probable to be seen in a Pub and have people think "Hey, I think that he is cool.". Like look at him, he is blooming at 1.33Km/H and at a 1.33Km/H hunger drain

You can give a boost to the other 5 Wolfgang's in your team.
Warly for solo hp is extremely broken due to high damage.
In the team, Warly either breaks the balance of hp bosses with its dishes or makes them normal if there are not many teammates.
Warly is the only character who can make Misery Toadstool a normal boss in teams where characters like Wilson or Willow who lack damage for Misery Toadstool.
