Is 2 drying racks, a crockpot, and fishing gear will be enough for food? I also plan to build chests wherever I can. Evelo Posted November 16, 2023 Share Posted November 16, 2023 Depends on where you plan to go. As Wigfrid fishing is your best bet followed by Sharks. Locate permanent Shoal locations and travel between two of them every now and then. You won't be able to make meaty stew with pure fish so if you don't need sanity or health just eating raw or cooked fish is better than throwing in 4 large fish into a crockpot. (Surf n Turf = 37.5 hunger vs 4 Large Fish = 100 Hunger) If you don't plan to play Wigfrid and include vegetables or fruits in your diet Figs and Seaweed made great small meals. Dried Seaweed even gives a sanity boost! It certainly is possible to live off the ocean but you will spend a lot of time fishing if you do not have access to a reliable source of seaweed or figs. Alternatively make good use of the Ocean Trawler. Just make sure to visit them occasionally so your trapped fish don't spoil. Good luck and happy Sailing!
