Is this game even difficult?

I've said it in another post awhile ago, and I am echoing points. But yeah the game's difficulty is primarily based around player knowledge rather than a player's ability to express certain specific skills (except arguably speedrunning and maybe attack canceling.) The game is hard if you don't know anything, but becomes easy once you know its inner workings. This isn't necessarily bad design by itself, but obviously you cannot expect a game based primarily around knowledge to be difficult forever. It's practically baked into the game at its core from a mechanics perspective. There aren't many mechanically demanding things in this game. I honestly don't think the game can be made significantly more harder for veterans IMO because they already passed the major checkpoint that is knowing lol. They'll overcome almost any obstacle you throw at them cause they already know, potentially using long term worlds to fight new content ASAP just means even if something could catch them by surprise, they have the resources to throw at a problem until they can solve it either by brute force or learning first hand. They'll just quickly adjust regardless. 

Now, there are some issues IMO that could honestly help make the game feel harder, like better balancing in general, and I think the new updates with the post "final boss" content is a step in the right direction, but IDK if this game could ever be "hard" once you've sunk enough time into it.

Game is hard, but for the people who are into the game enough to post on this forum they usually know enough to think the game is easier then it is.
