Custom animation gets frozen on the penultimate frame

hello. I've got a problem that occurs whenever i create custom animations. when i play it ingame ( c_sel().AnimState:PlayAnimation("", true) ), it gets frozen exactly on the penultimate frame (debug entity). it had auto-loop before (a month ago), but then it randomly started the thing. will it get fixed anyhow or can anything cause this problem (if it is)?
