Maybe we'd need to use the new Sawhorse to make them, out of a number of shell bells and/or broken shells, possibly some other materials. They'd be a heavy item, much like the celestial alter pieces, and could be used to disable not only lunar fissures, but the cave fissures as well.

I was hoping just leaving a boulder over the top of one would be enough to keep the inkblights from spawning in sensitive areas where they can quickly, easily, and irreversibly destroy the rare and precious banana trees that grow down there, but no such luck. Fissure Plugs would be a fine solution.
