Craftable Turfs for (maybe) future quality of life update ?

I just want to get more Turf to decorate my base without world-hopping ;-;

How else do you translate “We expect this to be the last major update for the original Don't Starve and we don't expect any further update announcements in the near future.”

that’s a pretty clear statement that they are finished with DS.

They EXPECT.  And what do you think NEAR FUTURE means ?

I don't personally expect anything more, but, they said this exact sentiment right after Hamlet came out, and we still got a major update later. Plus, internally, Shipwrecked was supposed to be the last thing ever made for Don't Starve even if they didn't say it publicly until years later, and we still got Hamlet after that.

Don't Starve is a game that's managed climb out of every grave it's willingly buried itself in so far. It's pretty much impossible to judge if there'll be more or not.

DS was buried in the grave at Klei's request.

We still don't know why Klei don't want to work on DS and we still don't know why they keep working on DST and how long they will continue.

The longer DST exists, the more DS looks like a raw, bugged, ugly DST beta... But for solo balance...
