[Request] Can I make a client-side mod for the Gingerbread Chest skin?

Hi, I am a big fan of the game Don’t Starve Together, and I especially love the Gingerbread Chest skin from the Winter’s Feast event. It looks so cute and festive, and I always enjoy making and using it in the game. However, I noticed that this skin is only available during the Winter’s Feast event, and I can’t use it for the rest of the year. I was wondering if I could make a client-side mod that allows me to craft and use the Gingerbread Chest anytime I want, and only I can see the skin, other players can’t. I think this would make me very happy, and it wouldn’t affect the game balance or the game experience of other players. I have some basic knowledge of modding, and I know how to use the official mod tools and follow the official modding guidelines. I don’t want to infringe any rights of the game developers or the game publishers, and I respect their work and creativity. I just want to express my love for the game and the Gingerbread Chest skin. So, I am asking for your permission, can I make and publish this mod? And if I can, are there any rules or restrictions that I need to follow?
