joshoni Posted September 25, 2023 Share Posted September 25, 2023 Add a "Allow Carried Materials" toggle to dupe checkpoints. Sometimes I don't want dupes to be able to carry items in/out of a certain area. Even when using item drop-offs set to Sweep Only and no sweep tasks are queued, dupes will still grab materials from areas I don't want them to to supply buildings. This would also make storage priority systems easier- you could reduce the amount you're fussing with specific bin priority by using one-way storage checkpoints so that materials are stored in a bin but never removed from that room. There is also a problem such as the Coal generator being turned off and not filled by the automation. I usually have the same problem. The most logical thing to do is to close it completely and forget about it. I've written this many times before, they probably won't see this you post.
