O.J.Vodka
Adding liquid methane engine rockets should be interesting. Last October, Klei promised to optimize and update the rocket system. A year has passed and there has been no progress in this area. I think some interesting ideas should be proposed to inspire Klei. Compared to liquid hydrogen, liquid methane is cheaper, with a higher density and smaller volume, which can hold more fuel and improve the range of rockets. In reality: 1. Aviation kerosene (petroleum) needs to be cooled to -47 ℃, and after each landing, it needs to be cleaned of coking before being launched again. 2. Liquid methane needs to be cooled to -162 ℃. 3. Liquid hydrogen needs to be cooled to -252 ℃, which is expensive and prone to leakage. This year, multiple rockets around the world are attempting to use liquid methane engines. In the game: All rocket engines should be cleaned and maintained after each landing, while liquid methane engine rockets have shorter maintenance times.
