Water balloons please klei slightly rework them

 I'm making this post because I made rabbit hutches and merm houses next to all the ponds that have mosquitoes to get them thinking I can let items on the ground just to find out you can't I was soloing fuel weaver and using volt goat jelly and wanted to use the morning star but just learned you can't yet items or structures I made the bones into the statue tried and failed and then I thought it was only pick able items nether works with water balloons and me just not understanding why that is not a mechanic please let water balloons do both of those I would think it wouldnt hurt for the people that come up with the idea let me use the wetness in my favor for fighting.
