The problem of pirate raids and their solution

Pirate raids on the one hand are quite an interesting event, on the other hand it starts to get boring quite quickly, especially considering that pirates can come several times a day, even if you are just sitting on a boat near your kelp base, and monkey island is located near the shore 

 

As for me, the solution to the problem could be a "Captain's Flag" - the blueprint of it would fall from the pirate cache, and the craft consisted of a rope and 3 black flags

The Captain's Flag could be mounted on the sail like a Lightning Conductor and a Deck Illuminator and would disable (or greatly reduce the chance of) the appearance of pirates for a player located approximately within the radius of the screen from the sail with the flag attached

When demolishing the mast, instead of the Captain's Glag, only 1 black flag and rope would fall out

I think that the idea that the Captain's Flag could break and had to be repaired periodically with a sewing kit would also be suitable for balance 

 

A Captain's Flag could give convenience in navigation and in the construction of naval bases, as well as increase the sense of using sails, while still having to face a pirate raid at least once and farm them in the future if you need a new one
