My nintendo switch account isn't syncing the insight points gained from my pc steam account

As the title says. My switch is syncing the pre-gained skills ive assigned to my characters on pc. However when i reset the skill tree on switch all the insight points disappear and i have to book up my pc, start a new world, assign skill points to woodie, quit out, start up dst on switch and start a new game to get the skill tree. If i die or reroll on switch i also lose my skill tree loadout.

Any fix to this would be great, ty lads.
