just val Posted August 22, 2023 Share Posted August 22, 2023 So I've been doing the metheus puzzle and gotten to the second puzzle and it has been hell. I don't know if it is to do with connection problems or just the fact that the website is outdated but the inputs are VERY inconsistent. I've been have to use both of my sisters laptops for this; her personal one and her college one; and this has been awful. I've been using the "brute force" method where you fill one persons slots with all of the second persons first slot and just check all of them etc. But what happens for me is that I will check all six slots and no light, check all six slots again and only then I get a light. Too many times have I had five of six lights and I have the final peices in the right slot but it still just resets because it only sometimes recognises that the peices are in the right slot. I have spent MULTIPLE HOURS just sitting trying to do this; I know exactly how to do the puzzle but it is just so inconsistent.
