godder Posted August 20, 2023 Share Posted August 20, 2023 I just tested football helmets (I'm a new player) and I took 15 damage from Deerclops and then I put on log suit with football helmets and took the exact same damage and the exact same rate of durability loss. Does this mean log suits do nothing when paired with football helmets? I'm a new player so forgive me if I am confused. _zwb Posted August 20, 2023 Share Posted August 20, 2023 In single player don't starve, armour protection does stack, so you would get 96% protection with football helmet and log suit back then. In DST armour protection does not stack, when you get hit it uses the highest protection of your armours, and the damage is split among armour pieces, with the same ratios as their protection percentage. Having a football helmet and a log suit, when you take 100 damage, 80 is absorbed by armour, and this 80 is equally split between 2 armours because they have the same protection.
