It seems somewhat ordinary compared to other boss spoils.Another point is that the albatross uses its mouth to drink seawater, even though it was still alive at that time.

As in allows players to use ocean water to water the crops? 

I had the same idea for a long time, it'd make sense for Malbatross to filter the salty water. 

 

What if filling the can with ocean water would make the player wait until it can be used on plants (and maybe burning objects too, as the can closes until it filters the water out, to simplify the code) for, say, a day, after which the salt would be filtered out (maybe even creating some salt crystals? Similar to how WX can make ice) and it could be used on plants? 

 

The salt crystal production wouldn't even be that op, as it'd take at least a day for it to form, and then it'd take another day to just empty the can out, provided that the extra uses stay.
