I'd like to point out why wendy is first choice in the oriental lands but I shouldn't.

Wolfgang should have a higher risk while fighting.
Hunger should drain much quicker and so the strength meter.
He should lose sanity even faster. 
This makes him at least use more resources.

Cuz Wolf was made to be easy mode mate. To access content and bosses faster without having to struggle as much as the others.

Not that berserker mindset, oh the DPS, nah. He is like that since Dont Starve was a browser game many many years ago.

Its just easy mode. It cant change due planar system so they did what they did.
