  I was thrilled to learn that Wormwood can speed up self-fertilization because that's what I've always wanted, but I was disappointed to learn that it only works on compost wraps.

  Later in the game, there are piles of rot and poop that are readily available for daily blood recovery, which are both easier to access  and less backpack space than fertilizer packs (they're everywhere).
