Pumking7
Playing Woodie in the moon storm is not a fun or challenging experience and is just extremely annoying. Everyday at full moon unless you can make use of your current were-form, you have to stand idle just waiting to transform back into human form. This makes it quite frustrating to stick with Woodie if playing on a late game world, due to the moon storms being turned on frequently. So after over 2 years after the ROT update line ended, Woodie has finally received skills which nullify the moons affect on his curse, however I believe this is not enough for him: If Woodie doesn't have the skill yet due to not having enough insight points or not killing CC he has to bear with the annoying experience of remaining in the moon storms. If Woodie does have the CC skill but has used his insight points on other skills, he has to use the Celestial portal to switch skills. However if he is using the portal why not switch to a character that is more adept at dealing with the Moon storms such as Wendy or Wolfgang. Woodie should have the option to negate the moon without requiring his skills, for it would feel more appropriate. Since the theme of recent updates has been Shadow vs Moon, and Shadow is more effective against Moon Enemies, why not make the new shadow themed gear be able to block the Full Moons curse over Woodie. If Woodie is wearing the full Dread Stone Set, full Void Set or the Umbralla then the full moon shouldn't have an effect on him. The reasoning for these item choices is Dreadstone would provide Woodie a way to prevent full moon transformation but wouldn't allow him to enter the Moon Storms. The Void Set, a late game armor set, would allow Woodie to both prevent full moons and should have the Void Cowl buffed to make it negate the sandstorms/moonstorms to be on par with the brightshade helm. The Umbralla, another late game item, would allow Woodie to have the most flexibility with his kit giving him both the body and head slot (also a shadow umbrella blocking out the Moon light sounds too perfect don't you think).
