Nova Starlight
I'm not sure if these are really original discoveries, but I have realized that rocket assembly in this game is broken beyond belief. In the span of a month I have discovered: A way to launch "ectopic rockets" in survival with only the spacefarer module and nothing else. A way to instantly teleport cargo (with the cost of loaders and unloaders) and ELECTRICITY between many locations as requested (forming a HUGE network), including between planetoids. A way to teleport duplicants between any planetoids (a bit of micro is required). About half a dozen unique crashes. The following: I don't have too much free time so I'll just demonstrate one of the most representative exploit here. WARNING: YOUR GAME MAY CRASH AT ANY TIME DURING THE PROCESS, INCLUDING AFTER LOAD. USE "SAVE AS" OFTEN. (Sorry for the low res photos, I used Steam screenshot, if there is a better way please tell me) STEP 1: Build a normal rocket. Building it as low as possible is recommended. STEP 2: Deconstruct the Rocket Platform, and put another Rocket Platform below. STEP 3: Connect the Rocket Platform with the rocket with a new rocket (doesn't have to finish construction). STEP 4: Move the new module to just below the spacefarer module. STEP 5: Launch the rocket. STEP 6: Whilst the rocket is launching, click the "new module" and swap it around with the buttons STEP 7: You can now interact with the Spacefarer Module. Order its deconstruction, and finish it before the rocket leaves the screen! (not shown, but you can start deconstructing the module before you launch then cancel it before it finishes, to accelerate this step quite a bit) STEP 8: The rocket should stop. "Save as" and reload. STEP 9: Enjoy your superheated geyser. (Joshua the Pilot is not.)
