Ocean Enjoyer
Name: Wyre (Celtic origin. Pronounced Wire. Can mean a winding river. Also can mean a keeper of a fishing-weir, which makes them a fishermen) Health: 150 Hunger: 175 Sanity: 175 Perks Wyre Starts with Ol' Reliable, a unique sea fishing rod. Wetness does not make it slippery. It passively recovers 6% of its durability every 15 seconds. If on the ground or on the ocean, it will reappear next to Wyre after at least a minute is spent sleeping, including appearing on a boat. While fishing, hostile creatures will instead treat Wyre as neutral. This does include the Malbatross which she has a kinship with, normally the Malbatross goes from neutral to hostile when the player fishes for deep bass. The 50% reduced effectiveness of Wyre's lures during rain and snow is only applied when her sanity drops at or below 50%. Does not lose sanity from being wet. Recovers 2 sanity every time she successfully fishes something up with a fishing rod, a sea fishing rod, ol' reliable, an ocean trawler, or with a pinchin' winch. Drawbacks Hunger drain increases by 33% after eating a meal that doesn't contain bananas, figs, or fish. Hunger drain penalty resets to 0% after eating a meal that contains at least one of those ingredients. Loses 2.5 sanity for every minute they spend on land. Andrew_W
Great name, sounds like a tough and niche character to play however. I think your best hope for this would be a mod Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/147505-wyre-fisher-style-character-idea-rough-draft/#findComment-1632908 Share on other sites
