Malfario
Lots of people have pointed out how plannar dmg not been affected by dmg multipliers sort of messes up with the playstyle of wolfgang wigfrid or even wanda for the matter, without really adding anything new to characters like wendy or wes. I personally dont mind much this because i am sure we will get more weapons with more effects that use plannar dmg and those items might become the best option for characters with negative multipliers, or we might get an item that lets the characters multipliers affect plannar dmg (even the brightshade helmet could acomplish this). with that said i think its fair to ask for an interaction between multiipliers and plannar dmg and so here is my sugestion: Make that characters with dmg multipliers gain a chance of dealing a critic hit using weapons with plannar dmg,The effect of said critic hit could be something as simple as a lot of dmg or something like stun the enmys for a moment so you can get free hits on them. Damage multipliers allow characters to kill Brightshades in one go before it regenerates its shield. I tested it on Warly with Brightshade sword and chili flakes. Characters without modifiers kill it in 2 rotations. Wolfgang deals 68 * 2 (136) damage with a Dark Sword and 38 * 2 + 30 (106) damage with a Brightshade Sword making it just a straight downgrade against any enemy not tagged with Planardefense. It's still theoretically better against enemies tagged with Planar Defense but the difference would be 49.1 (Dark) to 60.6 (Bright) not even a 25% increase, nowhere near the double damage he usually has. If Planar did scale it'd be 90.6 damage against Planar Defense tagged enemies, much closer to what you'd expect. (Also with the recent hp nerf they got Wolfgang can once cycle them even with a Dark Sword) Not sure why Wanda is brought up since there's no Planar Shadow weapon that she could benefit from right now but Warlies chaud-froid affected.
