Gulp fish heat deletion

Recommended Posts

Approach to use gulp fish for heat deletion. Up to -110 kDTU/s just with one fish.

Fish is in vacuum. Converts 200 g/s pwater to ice debris ~-10C. Pwater can be of any temperature (keeping it liquid of course). There must be gulp fish ranch somewhere (consuming algae or seeds) to keep population as fish doesn't lay egg this way. After fish's death water and pwater contained inside fish are released (up to 200 g pwater and up to 2 kg water). Rarely this pwater emits pO2 before other fish converts it to water. That's why deodorizer with liquid under it - cheap pO2 pump.

This setup doesn't use steel, plastic or uncommon liquids. I believe it may be done even without mechatronics, but with dupe labor (wasn't interesting for me though).

In case there are 50 fishes throughput can be up to 10 kg/s yielding up to tremendous -5528 kDTU/s (assuming 122,3C pwater is provided which may not be practical in most cases).

Most bases don't need this. But in SO on metallic swampy start without teleporter it may mean a lot (no oil, no dreckos, no iron).

I Just finish setup gulp ice factory in max difficulty swamp achievement run.

Top need to be in vacuum or brine got deleted.

My plan is Ice -> Cool Oxygen and turn to liquid -> Bathroom toilet -> metal refinery -> and feed to glup fish.

I still need to add liquid valve for flow control.

Brine may become too warm over time with sweeper and loader in it. Or may not if ice spend enough time in brine to compensate heat up.
