Waitdire
Currently, firestaff and Scalemail are considered to be about situational items that are much much inferior to icestaff and wooden armor for several reasons: 1) they have a more difficult getting in the game; 2) you risk burning lootdrops; 3) the panic effect is triggered in 90% after the enemy has already taken REVENGE on you, because of which the enemy's panic does not make any sense; 4) arson can be achieved by hitting a creature with a torch, which is why the fire effect has no value in the items that I will mention in this post. As a result, you spend the resources you need on items that give you nothing but extra pain. I think a lot of people remember how it works scaring Shadow Sneak in Maxwell's rework or just scaring with the help of the player's ghost. I think if firestaff, Scalemail, maybe Fiery Pen and Fire Dart worked according to a similar scheme (namely, intimidated from the beginning), then they would have become much more attractive. There would be such an alternative to the game, freeze the enemy for to attack or escape, or set it on fire, know that he will not kill you with an instant retaliatory attack, finish him off at the risk of burning himself and lootdrops or also just escape. Perhaps Willow's lighter could also have the mechanics of intimidation and 100% arson, but would spend 10%-15% per hit so that she could better play the image of an arsonist. Thanks for reading.
