GXSC Posted March 11, 2023 Share Posted March 11, 2023 Currently the only way to exchange items between bases is to either having players run between bases, or have Maxwell players putting and getting things out of shadow dimensions. A trading hub that enables players to exchange items between bases would be fun to have. This allows players to diversify their play style by working at multiple different locations, instead of cramming everyone into the same mega base. Depending on design, it can also introduce interesting dynamics (e.g.: players can decide to trade 40 silk for 10 eggs; 20 honey for 20 monster meat). To prevent making it op, we can limit the rate, introduce trade cost and delay, and have a high tech level requirement for these hubs. Players can be more tactical using this technique since they can now depend on other players for critical resources, enabling specialization on each base.
