two small (tiny) QOL suggestions

Recommended Posts

self explanatory title!

first, i am once again begging for some form of map marking, at the very least via the cartographer's desk? useful for marking wormholes, of course, but also for other stuff that doesn't have a map symbol, like beefalo and voltgoat herds. marking with traps or backpacks or turfing just feels so scuffed, and moonlenses are expensive to just be used as a map marker (and it takes a bit to acquire enough colored gems for all four pair of wormholes, not all of us are skilled enough to ruins rush in the first autumn!). i have a disorder that causes memory problems, i cannot remember which wormhole goes to which intrinsically. :wilson_cry:

next, maybe remove spider dens from being targeted when f is held down, or at least change the targeting to prioritize spiders/spider warriors? it's always a pain attacking a spider den and not being able to hit the spider warrior, which has spawned right on top of or behind the spider den (therefore difficult and even more of a hassle than normal to click) and is actively trying to kill me, because the targeting has decided the den itself is a bigger threat instead.

thanks!

Regarding Wormholes: You can use different Wormhole skins for each Wormhole. The skins appear on the map and is an amazing tool for distinguishing which wormhole leads to where. Just craft a Clean Sweeper for 4 petals and a few twigs and boom! Sweep the wormholes with the skins. (Granted you need the skins in the first place)

For the in-game Wormhole solution, and altbough it's a bit expensive, you could use Moonlenses of different colors for each connection. If you don't want to waste the gems of the Ruins, then Blue, Red and Purple Moonlenses would be enough, since with three Lenses of three colors you could potentially mark 3³, or 27 Wormhole connections.
