Controller/Console Suggestion: The Lock On Issue

The lock on is pretty bad on DST console and I think it needs to be fixed. The reason I bring this up is that certain bosses and actions for the weather pain are horrendous. The weather pain, in fact, doesn't work with target lock on since the B button on xbox controllers is the same button for the use of the weather pain. This means that, when fighting specific bosses, the weather pain can only be used when close to the target you wish to use it on. This has a drastic impact on the Fuel Weaver fight where you must juggle using the weather pain and the nightmare amulet. This isn't an issue unless you take into account the way the weather pain works. You cannot use the weather pain from a distance meaning you need to walk close to the Fuel Weaver and use it. This makes the flow of combat much harder than it would be on something like mnk. Therefore, I suggest that the mappings of the lock on be changed. The Y button is underutilized on console DST. I propose that the weather pain be changed to this: The lock on should remain on the press of the left joystick, the Y button should be used to cancel the lock on, pressing left joystick while using lock on should change targets, pressing Y to cancel and then the left joystick should always re-target the the previous target. This allows the flow of combat to be more precise when using the lock on. This has more applications than just the Fuel Weaver fight. Crab King is also notoriously bad because of the targeting of weather pains. Sometimes locking on will lock on to the nearest claw when you don't want to. Sometimes your targeting with the weather pain also gets locked onto a stray seed or piece of meat while the Crab heals all of its hp because you were unable to lock onto the proper target quick enough. This makes the application of weather pains, the main tool for both of these bosses, much easier to use. It also gives the weather pain the capability of targeting things from a far range. The Celestial Champion fight would also benefit from this change.
