How do I link my dst nintendo worlds to my steam dst game?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I am new to ps dst.

I have started to play on Nintendo switch nad I love its portability. But when I am home I want to have the advantge of playing on my pc.  And then play the same world on nintendo when I am out.
I seem to have merged my klei accounts form my nintendo to my new steam account. It showss as linked. BUT in my steam dst game I seem to have lost all the progress and worlds. And also the player name is different then in my nintendo console.

I have tried to search what may be wrong but I am clueless. PLEASE can someone help me to get my worlds linkd form nintendo to my pc dst game?
THANK YOU so much for helping.

Don't Starve Together worlds are saved internally to the system storage, unless uploaded to Steam Cloud. Unfortunately, as there is no way for a Switch to gain access to Steam servers to upload a cloud save, I'm afraid there is no way to transfer saves from Switch to Steam.

However... it's very possible to use a Steam Deck to do exactly what you're asking for! Personally I love my Deck as it's great for playing DST and other games on the go, I'd highly recommend one if you're willing to shell out the money for it (which I understand is not something everyone can do).

Hi there, thanks so much for your feedback. Its not that I would mind the money, I did actually read online, that it is possible to play DST on multiple devices via one meerged account - Klei and steam. Oh well... I am gonna have to think this over and see what the best option will be. :) I would love to be able to remain on NNT Switch though.
