The nighlight could work like a combination of hamlets endswell and shipwreckeds obsidian fire pit

for those who are not familiar with said items, the end´s well on hamlet was a structure that spawned nightmare creatures droping any item on it, and purple gems if given nightmarefuel. And the obsidian fire pit was basically a fire pit that could light up half the screen, i think you might already know where i am going.

What if nightlights accepted any fire pit fuel item and spawned nightmare creatures for each of this, but if given nightmarefuel it gave an insane radius of light.

we could finally have an alternative for lighting bosses arena aside the star/moon callers.

And for maxy, servants could get a buff if they are on the light radius, said buff decreasing as the night light goes off.
