Pet Rock
Seasons don't really affect players on the ocean at all (apart from hot/warm/rainy weather) and don't offer seasonal ocean content. If anyone has any ideas for seasonal ocean content reply to this topic, but as always I already thought of some: 1. Mini glaciers can spawn on the ocean during winter. 2. Antlion's sinkholes turn into whirlpools on the ocean that pull in nearby boats, damage them, and then spit them out in a random direction. 3. Bearger can walk through water and his fur will have a wet appearance. When in water his attacks are slower and have a bit less range. His ground pound also has less range but can push boats back. 4. During spring storms small waves can naturally appear in deeper waters that push the boat a bit I'll probably come back and add to this list with my new ideas Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/141807-seasons-on-the-ocean/ Share on other sites
jp2k43
I really liked the idea of oceanic implementation based on the season, I'm just not a fan of Bearger being able to walk or swim in water, I don't think it would match very well Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/141807-seasons-on-the-ocean/#findComment-1585277 Share on other sites
Jinjetica
I like most of these ideas, but not bearger swimming in the middle of the ocean... the game has seasonal fish in the water as well, maybe some seasonal ocean mobs would be cool? like... what if pengulls could swim and jump onto the the icebergs? maybe there could be sea horses that appear in the summer? or sea serpents in spring? -and they can be ridden across the ocean on, and attack sharks and fish?
