Ok so 0 experience with modding here, I'm interested in modding the flags and the bandanas of powder monkeys from the new update, particularly changing the color of the headwear and the symbol on the flag. I'd like to know first of all if its possible, and in that case how hard it is to learn how to actually edit that stuff.
Thanks!

Find the anims you want to change, edit the sprites, then create a folder called "exported" in your mod folder. (Just a new folder in "SteamApps\common\Don't Starve Together\mods". You'll also need a modinfo.lua, which you can find an example of in any other mod.) Each anim you modded gets it's own folder in there, named after the original .zip file. They will then be converted into a .zip when you run the game, which is all you'll need (besides the modinfo.lua.) You can then take your "exported" folder out of the mod and keep it somewhere safe in case you need to change something later.

You can then upload your mod to the Steam workshop using the Don't Starve Mod Tools. If you subscribe to your mod, you can get rid of the one in "SteamApps\common\Don't Starve Together\mods".

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks a lot!
