Beta branch on a linux server with steamcmd

Hello.

Trying to switch a Linux server (that works for the general game) to the beta branch with steam cmd.

steamcmd update command used is

app_update 322330 -beta updatebeta

.ini files are reused with no changes from a base game server (save files were not copied).

Any help is appreciated including suggesting another place to post or more detailed documents on steamcmd or dst dedicated servers than what I found at the following locations:
