Lost character after resuming a game on beta branch

Hi,

I wanted to try the beta branch on a very old game (created on my desktop machine, then uploaded on my dedicated server, had no problems on it for thousands of ingame days). So i updated my DST binaries using steamcmd (-beta updatebeta), copied my game's folder into DoNotStarveTogetherBetaBranch/, server stared without any problems, but when i connected to this server, the game asked me to chose a character, so my previous character, its crafts and its inventory is lost.

I don't think it may cause the problem, but this server is endless and uses mods : Legion, Global Positions, Epic Healthbar, Triple MacTusk, Show Bundle, Simple Birdcages, Refillable Salt Lick and Insight

Do anyone have an idea of a way i can get this previous character back please ?
