If you are implying the artstyle,

There are quite a few hits when I google this.

But some good tips would be for any art projects. Draw big then downsize.

Don't Starve has three very distinct art styles as it has evolved considerably overtime.

The original sketch like art style, which is mostly used for the original lore vids, and some artwork. It is not used much ingame especially these days but it still sort of exists for entities with lots of black hair.

A more refined vector style artwork that features strong lines and almost no gradients. Pick a few colors you want for your character, you can sample the colors from existing textures. This is probably the easiest to emulate and is used by the majority of existing sprites. Vectors can be resized infinitely, but will ultimately be converted into .png like flat static textures in game.

The third style is very similar to style 2 but with a more paper texture to help add texture to the otherwise solid colors with shading. It is often used by lore vids and menu art and occassionally some newer sprites like rocks to give them more texture.

Honestly I start with trying to draw vectors. There are quite a few tutorials but these old ones have been useful for me.

It really just takes practice
