Story mode on switch?

Hi, I'm 100% new to this game, and I started it, and created a custom world, but my save says "survival "... isn't there a story mode I can select?

 

Sorry if there's an existing topic like mine, I went down about 15 pages and didn't see it. Be kind to me.. I literally bought this game today... I'm 100% clueless.

There is an adventure mode that is accessible inside the survival mode using a special structure in the world.

You just find it in your world. But remember, completing the adventure mode is not the end of the game, there's a lot more content that isn't in it.

There is three modes you can make your dst world, Survival, Wilderness, Endless
