Like what if instead of slowly building over time there were some way to pursue charge more directly? Like a solar-powered hat and other devices in a similar vein that are required to gain charge. I like the idea of a solar powered hat because it's limited to daytime use, and above ground. Because the lightning strikes are pretty rare, and you're probably not gonna get hit with all the wetness protection items that you need in order to stay alive. Maybe its pretty expensive too, requiring frazzled wires and moon shards, I don’t know. it just feels like the whole charge thing barely affects anything. It may also help with balancing so that players cant just have infinite night vision day 1. What are other peoples thoughts on making the charge mechanic more dynamic? -Nick- Posted April 18, 2022 Share Posted April 18, 2022 It would be nice to be able to use electric doodads on charge stations to make it a Electrified Doodad, it would spoil over time turning into a regular doodad again after it expires. These electrified doodads could give wx charges if you eat them/use them on yourself. Either way works. Other players could also create electrified doodads and use them in the future in some new crafting or mechanic that Klei could implement.
