I really love the way WX isn't as much Wicker dependent anymore, but imo there's a few issues with some of the circuits. hunger circuit -- 75 max and hunger for 2 battery slots is not that usefull, and that is not taking in to consideration that you need to survive one year, scan a boss, defeat a boss, and use the drop out of it to get it. 15% decreased hunger loss is pretty nice tho. balance suggestions >>> I think it should take only one slot, or have increased hunger rate decrease, to something like 25%. Or just have it take one slot but be rebalanced to 50 max hunger + 20% less hunger decrease. The hunger rate decrease could be semi stackable like with second speed circuit too, up to 50% reduction total. drone circuit -- that one is not that bad, but there simply are better alternatives. Health and Sanity regeneration is nice, but without original WX gear upgraded stats that regeneration has little place to maneuver - they take too long to regenerate stats to have any meaning in a battle, especially with some enemies dealing tremendous amounts of damage (as i said, there are simply better alternatives). balance suggestions >>> it would be cool if it actually had an effect on WX's new little drones. Making them move and scan faster would be a good start. Also making all not damaged clockworks be completely neutral to WX instead of less aggressive would be a cool little perk too. Or just make it give WX something like 25% armor. Or just make it take 2 slots instead of 3. musicbox circuit -- personally, i love the cute ragtime remix. I could listen to it all day. The gloomer-like sanity regeneration is also really cool. Sadly it has very little use, especially if we take in to account how it's obtained and how many battery slots it takes. balance suggestions >>> realistically, it would be best utilized early game for tam'o shanter alternative and easier crop farming. More realistically? It requires whole sea escapade to get so you're simply better off spending your time actually talking to the plants, getting green/blue mushrooms for sanity or just building a one man's band (it requires like 3 seconds of usage to get the whole crop field happy, it's also no big deal to make). Also not everyone will hug WX all day for a bit of sanity regeneration. Wendy's sisturn gives more sanity and its easier to get your hands on one too. Just please make it take up 1 slot, not 3. It will be fine that way. I think i'm not the only one who would love to carry it around just for the music. light circle circuit -- Night vision is just better in every single way. Takes less batteries, easier to get, easier to make, gives more vision. It's only less multiplayer friendly, but if you have nigh vision you can simply do everything alone. balance suggestions >>> just make it take 3 slots instead of 5. It really is inferior to night vision in every single way. That would make it usable along heat/cold circuits. That would make it really nice. Just like good old light + freezing immunity overcharge had. Except a tiny bit better but without speed gain. One more thing: It would be cool if durability loss of circuits was dependent on how much battery slots they take. I feel like this ratio would be the best: 10% per 1slot circuit / 20% per 2 slot circuit / 25% per 3 slot circuit / 33% per 4 slot circuit / 50% per 5 or 6 slot circuit Overall, i'm very positive about this rework. It makes WX so much interesting and versatile, also allows him to build in to one specific stat. Some random notes/ideas: Removal of circuits really hurts sometimes. I saw a lot of different simple ideas to how to improve it, so i'm going to propose mine as well. What about moving the entire battery UI to character screen (the one on the tool bar, after you click it. I really don't know how to call it) or a tab below crafting tab and leave only small indicator of how many batteries are charged/being used on main UI? Having the circuit remover in inventory would allow removing specific circuits by clicking an icon beside them in the dedicated/character UI. (or something like that, this idea could be improved a lot, i just don't think the whole battery and circuits UI is needed on main UI). Maybe some end game ruins-related way of increasing max battery charges? Up to 8 or 10, could be only temporary, until you die or use them up by removing circuits (any circuits, doesn't matter if they were using the added batteries or not). I think it would be cool if WX had all thier circuits removed + dropped under him upon drowning on the sea. I just feel like it would fit a lot. Make Warly's electric goat jelly restore one/two of WX's batteries as another alternative to restoring them.
