Super Sustainable and Carbon Dioxide Engine

In my opinion, it seems more fitting to use a sugar engine instead of a carbon dioxide engine for a locavore-carnivore-super sustainable run, since sweetles make surcose and meat.  Would it be better if the using a carbon dixoide engine nullified the super sustainable achievement if one hasn't produced enough power to motivate the use of the sugar engine?

In a case like this, I would rather jump straight to steam engine rockets. Well unless farming sweetles and pufts is what you want. Although don't see a reason why Carbon diokside should ruin super-sustainable achievement. It is not about CO2 emissions it is about saving your fossil fuel - coal, gas, oil... Although I would like to except wood and ethanol, which are also prohibited, for super-sustainable achievement, thought it shouldn't.

Overall all I see Carbon dioxide engine as very sustainable, you take waste and use it for powering rockets. It's fantastically sustainable - giving out same material as input, it's could as easy be a manual rockets, where a man on a wheel can lift it from the ground and propeller it to space... Oh... It is like that if you use a manual generator for powering anything what's pumping CO2 to your rocket.

On the other hand - forbidding Carbon engine for super-sustainable achievement could make it nearly unachievable on some maps.

And if we would wish to include rockets in prohibition list of super-sustainable - I would consider carbon, steam and radbolt engines as most sustainable, because emmisions of those are exactly what the fuel was. So if we want to forbid some of the rockets I would say forbid - sugar and petroleum.

You're right.  I hadn't thought about how the desolands, flipped, radioactive ocean, metallic swampy, and frozen forest starts might all not have sweetles or surcose avialable at the home or the 2nd asteroid, if the teleporter is turned on.
