clonedDanny
While idle, rover could recharge its batteries using sunlight prolonging it's life cycle or at least gain a slower discharge buff while working at direct sun. Even it design slightly suggests that it might actually use solar energy. My idea is not to make it immortal but to gain some advantages by using it in planned matter. Right now using it forces us to somewhat race against time while setting up first constructions for future colonies. This is fun to a degree, but i do believe that adding sunlight factor could add some basic complexity to it. Rover's are not humans and giving them same passive bonuses "lit workspace" as clones is, in my opinion, wrong. I do believe that nobody cares about rover working faster. Rover operating longer might be a right thing to do.
