KaeseSchnitte
If you want to build two separate Transit Tube networks, currently, you cannot have them cross each other, because there is no way to bridge one Transit Tube over another. I think the ability to bridge one Transit Tube over another should definitely be a functioning mechanic of the core game. Here are increasingly sophisticated ideas on how to add this mechanic: 1) Adapt the Transit Tube Crossing block in such a way, that it can be placed above previously placed Transit Tube blocks, with Transit Tube being placed to the sides of the block connecting the the Crossing block, rather than the previously placed Transit Tube. 2) Add a new transit Tube Overpass block, that, as the name implies, acts as an overpass over another Transit Tube. 3) Add a Transit Tube Juntion block that can be toggled to provide different connections, cycling between (written in cardinal directions) w-e/n-s, w-n/s-e, w-s/n-e connections, either through a Duplicant, similar to how they close/open doors, or through a rising edge of a power connection. Odeen
With how you have to branch to the side to avoid sharp angles, I think a 2×2 or 3×3 roundabout would be a nice addition that allows dupes to go any direction but still requires planning for the space.
