Layered Construction Overlay

A layered construction overlay, that allows you to separate specific tiles and objects into their own respective "layers", such as how one is able to in digital art programs.
In-game, this could be implemented similarly to how players can already highlight specific systems such as piping layouts.
This will be useful in being able to distinguish individual systems within a tightly interwoven base layout, without being visually intrusive or forcing players to physically mark it out in their base.
It will also help in cases where one needs to build temporary constructions and adjustments on their base to deal with emergent situations such as gas leaks, by allowing players to view these changes in their own separate "layer".
This ability to visualize these distinct layers will lesson the hassle of dismantling/deactivating the temporary constructions once they are no longer needed.
