ChrisBit Posted August 11, 2021 Share Posted August 11, 2021 Quite a lot of the buildings require you to change their settings after construction is finished, for instance, automation sensors, storage bins and filters. Thus, with several construction projects around the base you have to keep checking back on all of them to check if they are finished and need their buildings to have their settings altered. It is easy to forget something and realize only after several cycles that the buildings have not been doing anything useful. Just a minor change, such as adding an extra automation sensor to a design, means you have to check back if it is finished and ready to have its settings applied. Allowing access to the building's regular settings GUI already at construction time would allow us to trust the duplicants to finish the job, without the need to keep checking if the buildings are finished.
