Tanmorik Posted August 8, 2021 Share Posted August 8, 2021 Hello Guys, Gantrys are back in business but i have a weird behaviours. This Gantry and only this gets Damaged from the engine. It is Disabled from automation grid and i checked it twice. It ist retracted as you can see from the image. I have some questions: 1. did somebody encounter the same issue? 2. did i make a mistake that is obvious and i can't see it? Rebuilding does not change it. After landing the Rocket it will get damaged. I know i know, there are just expansive nice looking nonsense but that is not the solution for this problem! ^^ I really like the idea of having some cool rocket towers that folds in when the rocket starts. I really think here is a bug but want to make sure. sakura_sk Posted August 8, 2021 Share Posted August 8, 2021 It seems that gantries get broken on rocket reentry if there is a walkable module near them (spawns on them..?). Such modules would be: solo Spacefarer and spacefarer module, orbital cargo and trailblazer (although drillcone seems to have a walkable area it isn't accessible) Spoiler While there is no problem at launch, on landing gantries get destroyed if they are one tile above or below a "walkable" module, doesn't matter how far away from the rocket. Thank you for clarifying. You are a real dupe scientist. But it is sad because it means it is not usable at the moment. sakura_sk Posted August 8, 2021 Share Posted August 8, 2021 Gantries should be usable for non walkable modules like oxidizer and you could put some ladders in between to reach these specific modules that break gantries (until gantries are fixed some time in the future...)
