Onidotmoe
It would work like a liquid or gas valve, allowing you to specify how much power exactly you want to go through. RobinSong
How do you use the 4kW limit effectively? it's such an awkward number when the conductive wire is capped at 2kW Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/132003-large-power-transformer-slider/#findComment-1480936 Share on other sites
Onidotmoe
You could use it as a separator for 2 heavy-watt wires. The large transformer only produces the same amount of heat as a single smaller transformer but can output 4 times as much power. It's 2 tiles thinner than 2 regular transformers. It requires refined metal, where the regular transformer mainly requires ores. I mainly use it for its smaller size and less heat production. As usual I hang around 2000-8000 potential load to same transformator, and it works somehow with average load around 1000, and max load around 1500. irOninfernO
I use it to power all my doors, automatic switches, water shut off / air shut off and CO2 skimmers. I also use regular wires as well and it didn't overload for a long time.
