Reallllyyyyy?  I’ve been looking everywhere for an answer, and that never came up.

I’m looking into it now, but the first few posts i’ve found about it are very old, and seem to imply contributors can’t update mods.

People have been asking about this for years, why is adding contributors to a workshop page absolutely useless? They can't edit text, change links, add contributors, upload pictures, and most importantly THEY CAN'T UPDATE THE WORKSHOP CONTENT! Is there a known reason why Valve has been unable to do anything about this that I just don't know about?”

That’s sort of the idea, but the mod is likely to get thousands of subs if they submit it, likely fewer if I submit it.  I’d like a lot of people to be able to enjoy the mod, but I code it, and I need to be able to update it.  It’s strange that Steam doesn’t have a system for this..

@Bucciarati

It might be fine, but I was hoping for a way to release it in their name.  (Obviously, my username sometimes leads to criticism, but I have a genuine desire to improve the lives of others, and I'd like to share what I do with as many people as possible.)
