help , how to edit an existing mod

 usually i update or play around with mods downloaded via klei but now i rlly want to improve a mod i viewed on steam but all subscribed mods in steam are tex files and i m unable to understand how could i reverse them back to lua files can i get any advice. am still new at modding

Hi

To get the mod files you go for the mod page, subscribe, wait till it download, copy the page link to get the mod ID, then you go for this directory:
/steam/steamapps/workshop/content/322330/
And look for the mod ID in folder

But you should not upload a modification of other people mods, this is against the rules and can be considered plagiarism.

For personal use (keep in your computer) I think it would be fine
