Level won't start - Visual C++ Runtime error

Hi,

 

I bought the game in a pack last year, but I haven't been able to play it yet. The game starts up, I can get through the menu until level select, but once I want to start the level I get a runtime error - Issue with Visual C++ Library error.

I've gone and checked the integrity of the game files through Steam properties tab. nothing wrong

I have a very recent laptop:

HP Z Book
Intel i7 vPRO 10th gen
NVIDIA Quadro P520

I would really like to play this game with my daughter, but  for that I need to get it running first....
