stevmjon
i was wondering which files need to be edited in order to paste a save file to DST so it is seen on the list in game. i see the save folders are now named cluster 'number' for the save file. if i was to copy / paste an older save into the current save file folder, which other file do i need to edit so this pasted folder is seen by DST in game? i assume i need to edit a .txt file or something? WereGoose
You only really need the cluster folder from my experience, however there was this weird period of time when porting in my beta saves where folders were there but nothing was in them. So, it could just be me, or its some kind of quirk DST has.
stevmjon
i already have some older cluster folders in there, but they are only recognized when i start a new game, and this new game uses the old cluster folder. the game starts at the old save time (eg day 131 summer) but starts with the new character. so i assume there is a file that has a list of cluster folders to use. i may need to edit this? stevmjon
i think this has to do with the file "cluster_token.txt"? all the games i can see in the DST list have data in this cluster_token.txt file. the clusters i cannot see in the list have this file blank. anybody know how DST puts data into this file, as it looks jumbled (not english language)?
