Background building to polish our base without mods

Hi, I'm wondering why there is no background building to design our bases on the vanilla game.

Of course there is the drywall but it's not hiding wires and pipes.

I'm aware there is some mods like wall paints and drywall to cover it but i like to play vanilla as possible !

I think with the new dlc coming out it will be a good add to custom our bases on asteroids.

Here a screenshot of my base to see the case i will need it  Even simply white one or a polish drywall ^^ 

For now i put open door to cover this mess.
